Julie McCarthy, C.P.N.P
Julie McCarthy RN, CPNP joined Desert Valley Pediatrics in 1995 where she fulfilled a lifelong dream to be a nurse and work with children. "Children are such a delight and are so innocent and trusting. I enjoy working beside their parents as an advocate for them."
She attended Arizona State University for both her Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Nursing with pediatrics as the specialty. Julie was certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care in 1995.She was born in Louisiana but grew up traveling throughout the United States and Europe as a child of the Air Force but has lived in Arizona since 1985. She is married with two sons and two step-sons. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, the great outdoors and playing with her dogs.
Julie believes that "working with children keeps you young at heart!"
